About Quick Lift Services
We spent 20 years in Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico where we operated a million dollar equipment supply company. In the 1980s we moved to Los Angeles, CA and organized the business we still operate today. We then moved to South Carolina in 1996.
Frank Pettinato's career in the automotive service industry started in 1960. Now happily in our 64th year serving customers means we have lots of experience! You benefit because those years brewed hands-on knowledge.
Many years ago, I sold a close friend from high school an engine analyzer. He never received any training. The machine sat in his gas station window, unused, for years. It became a sad issue between the two of us. From that incident forward, I vowed that I would never let a customer down again if there was a way to rectify the problem. I soon discovered that salespeople make promises to get the sale, then they quickly forget to follow up. That behavior causes the buyer to lose out on the value he had bargained for with their purchase. The buyer feels cheated, one way or another! I personally try to supply you the best products that will fit your budget.
We are located in South Carolina, very near Interstate 85 between Atlanta, GA, and Charlotte, NC. Our hometown is Simpsonville, a suburb of Greenville, South Carolina. We can sell you a lift then have it shipped to any location in the USA!
Our vocation is sales of automotive service equipment, giving you that comfortable feeling that you bought a good quality item with VALUE for your money spent. You get the best advice regarding what you want from trained, professional people. Our business is insured. Our pride is in being professional.
Why You Should Buy From Quick Lift Services
Since you have arrived on our website, you are likely wondering what we can do for you, or at least, what is different about us. I am glad you asked because there is a big difference with us and you can benefit from it. Quick Lift Services is about QUALITY and VALUE. We only sell the best. We have a 50+ year history because we believe in truth and value. Let me explain what this means for you.
Most products today that are sold in the USA are manufactured in China. It is a fact that you must admit. Oh, there is lawyer language that can be massaged to gain the legal statement that "qualifies" the ability to put a "made in USA" label on a product. But still the real truth is the laborers who build do not speak English and that item, in whole or in part floats from the site of original assembly to warehouses in our homeland.
Call it made in the USA if you will, but the quality is still not what you expect for your dollar spent. This means you, the buyer, must decide whether what is good for one price, will be just as good for another price? When you surf the web, how can you know if the sales person is truly knowledgeable? Are they reading from a script? Do they care about you an your hard earned dollars or are they just trying to "make a buck". At Quick Lift we eliminate those risks for you. Think about this: No one does a job for 64 years just to "make a buck". It is a passion to do it right!
We have been selling lifts and other service tools for all of our life! We are much more than a person trying to "make a buck". With us, getting you the best VALUE for your money is a primary goal; regardless of where the item is made. Discernment is what you get at Quick Lift. Today we sell lubrication dispensing equipment, air compressors, wheel alignment racks and heavy truck lifts as well as automotive lifts. You can fit a budget, find what you need, have it delivered with minimum backache and feel comfortable about a large purchase that you have limited knowledge about. That is VALUE.
How Did We Get Here?
I started as a young kid, right out of high school. I barely knew what lifts and other equipment were. I learned why people needed them. As I learned, I found that there are usually four problems with automotive shop equipment:
- Lots of equipment was just shipped out. A "get their order, get it shipped" philosophy was behind the sales representative. Often, set-up or installation, training is of no concern.
- The operators are not instructed in the proper and safe use of their equipment, nor had they received the benefit of knowing what the tools could do for them.
- Owners did not know who to call for repair and service.
- Equipment/tools are often a "black science" subject because users feel cheated, they are unable to get parts or service for expensive items after breakdowns of costly items.
So, today you get that SERVICE from Quick Lift. You deal with me. You get on-time delivery, accurate and professional technical information. You get the benefit of a lifetime of professional experience working for your invested dollars. You will learn how the equipment works, what it can or cannot do for you plus what to expect over the lifetime of the machinery. I cannot always tell you what you want to hear, but you will always hear the truth. Buy from us because you can trust us!
We sell quality equipment and parts. We stock as many popular parts as is reasonable. It goes without saying that we are fully trained, certified and insured to protect you. When you have a need, turn it over to us, so that you can feel comfortable using what you bought.
In addition to parts, we also sell new equipment and, when available, used automotive repair equipment. We only sell brands that back up their products with quality replacement parts and knowledge. Top brands with the best back-up. That often costs a bit more. When you buy an Asian built product, be certain that it has value for you rather than value for the Chinese person who built it. Do you want to deal with some "fast talking" sales dude? Are they most likely only selling equipment for a short while? I am a fellow who has lived his life to serve people in need of good tools. Please realize that all of this costs money; not a foolish waste of money, but money well spent. Ensure you will be getting VALUE for your money.
Quick Lift Services is a Proud Sponsor of Rat Poison Racing
Rat Poison Racing consists of our son, Dan Pettinato, and grandson, Robby. Robby and his dad worked on this car as a family project. It taught Robby intense mechanical perfecting of machinery. It also brought out a competitive spirit. These qualities are the heart of Quick Lift Services.
Robbie "aged out" of Junior Drargster racing, but only after winnnig NHRA regional meets and their "Iron Man" competition. His last season was phenomenal ... he won nearly everywhere they went. We are very proud!
These days, Robby and his father Dan have built a new car. It is a real big time step up. The car is "AA/Fuel Altered". Which is really a modern funny car like the ones on TV every weekend. It is a "roadster" bodied, blown, injected, 500 cubic inch Hemi that runs on nitro methane fuel. So far they have done a good bit of "racing" work and it is just fine. This car runs elapsed times of 5.90 seconds at over 250 MPH! They have built a re-invented version of Grandpa Frank's car from the 1960s and 1970s.
